International Partnerships

In accordance with its 'Associate Status' with UNESCO, ICSSPE serves as a permanent advisory body to UNESCO and regularly conducts research and other projects on behalf of this United Nations agency.

ICSSPE is also a 'Recognised Organisation' of the International Olympic Committee, and a has a long tradition of co-operation with the world´s leading sport body.

In addition, ICSSPE collaborates with the World Health Organization (WHO) in the area of physical activity and health promotion.

ICSSPE and the International Federation of Sports Medicine (FIMS) maintain close links through ex-officio representation on each other's Boards and co-operate in various areas of common interest.

To support its world-wide commitment, the Council establishes contacts with business affiliates aiming to jointly contribute to a responsible and sustainable development of society.

A partnership with ICSSPE provides visibility and a close association with sport federations and institutions from around the world. It links partners from the corporate sector with an organisation that has been contributing for decades to sustainable development of our global society, relying on both tradition and innovation and accounting for millions of people in its unique network.

ICSSPE promotes the missions of its partners and involves them in scientific and communication projects of the network. It cares about the best enterprising presentation of its partners in connection with the activities of the network.
