Fifth International Conference on Sport and Society

The International Advisory Board of the Sport and Society Knowledge Community calls for submission of papers for the Fifth International Conference on Sport and Society Society.

The conference is set to take place from 16-17 July 2014 at UNIVERSO, Niterói, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Proposals may be submitted for presentations, workshops, colloquia, etc.. Generally concerned with assessing the intersection of sport and society, presentations are expected to address one of the following themes:

- Sporting cultures and identities - Sport and health - Sports education - Sports management and commercialisation - Sport and development (special focus for 2014)

Graduate student scholarships are also available for this conference.

The submission deadline is 12 December 2013.
