MINEPS V: Search for Volunteers

ICSSPE offers opportunity for volunteers at the 5th International Conference of Ministers and Senior Officials Responsible for Physical Education and Sport (MINEPS V) from 28 to 30 May 2013. The conference is jointly organised by the German Federal Ministry of the Interior (BMI) and by UNESCO as well as supported by the International Council of Sport Science and Physical Education.
Ministers, senior government officials from all UNESCO Member States and representatives from non-governmental organisations are invited to debate current challenges in sport and physical education. Key themes are “Access to Sport as a Fundamental Right for All”, “Promoting Investment in Sport and Physical Education”, and “Preserving the Integrity of Sport”. The organisers expect up to 500 participants and to ensure a successful implementation of and a friendly atmosphere at the conference, volunteers are searched for that enjoy supporting the organising team actively, and making the international honorary guests feel welcome. English language skills are mandatory, further languages are highly appreciated.
 

Tasks will include the following:
 

• Support of the conference secretariat
• Welcoming the delegations at the airports and central train station as well as at the conference venue
• Registration of participants
• Staffing the information desk, cloakroom. etc.
• Entrance control
